After arriving at Siwa, we will check-in at the hotel and enjoy breakfast. We will take a break for changing clothes before our first tour: the Mountain of the Dead. After, we will go swimming at the Spring of Juba (aka Cleopatra's Pool) before making our way to Lake Fettnas, where we will catch the sunset. If you'd like, you can rent a bike to the lake (Optional). We will have dinner at Albabenshal Heritage Lodge, before finally going back to the hotel to spend the night.
After waking up and having breakfast at the hotel, we will go on a safari trip with Land Cruisers to the Great Sand Sea, one of the largest sand dunes in the world (Optional tour). We will then visit the Graeco-Roman Tombs where you will see hundreds of ancient tombs.
We will then have lunch at the Hot Spring, Bier Wahid, where you can swim. We will also visit a lake to swim at. Siwan tea, juices, fruits and nuts will be served as we watch the sunset.
We will have dinner in our camp with the desert lit by candles and the stars. We will have a campfire and sip on Bedouin tea while enjoying Siwam folkloric festivities.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed with our first visit of the day to the Temple of the Oracle (or the Temple of Amun) in the abandoned village of Aghurmi. The temple is also known as the Coronation Hall of Alexander since it was the temple he visited when he conquered Egypt.
We will then visit Dakrur Mountain where you can see Siwa from above, surrounded by palm trees. We will then go to the Salt Lake and Abu Shuruf Spring, where you can go for a swim.
We will catch the sunset at "Relax" Island. We will have dinner at Nour el Waha, a famous local restaurant. Then we will head to the Siwan Local Market where you can buy all sorts of colorful crafts and souvenirs.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed with check-outs. Finally, we will catch our final bus back to Cairo.
