Travel for  Egypt Nile Cruise and Alexandria City – 8 days 7 nights visiting all of Egypt’s most touristic and historical attractions. A once in a lifetime trip that you don’t want to miss. Starting in Cairo, we will move to the green city of Aswan where we will board a Nile Cruise visiting all the historical and jaw-dropping sites by the river’s banks. We will then sail to Luxor, where the cruise will continue, before flying back to Cairo. A full-day tour is next in the famous city of Alexandria – but make sure to ask us about our customization options if you want to change your schedule!

DAY 1 - Arrive to Cairo

After arriving to Cairo, our representative will meet you and help you transfer and check-in at your hotel location. Overnight in Cairo.

Optional: Dinner Cruise (USD 70 per person)

DAY 2 - Fly to Aswan - High Dam - Unfinished Obelisk - Philae Temple - Kom Ombo

After an early breakfast, we will check out of the hotel and take a short flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, we will transfer to the Nile Cruise and check-in.

We will then visit the Aswan High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk. After lunch, we will visit the Temple of Philae and sail to Kom Ombo, the ancient city of gold. Dinner and overnight on board of the cruise.

DAY 3 - Kom Ombo Temple - Sail to Edfu

After breakfast on board of the cruise, we will visit Kom Ombo Temple. Then, we will Sail to Edfu, where our cruise will stay for the night.

Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board of the cruise.

DAY 4 - Edfu Temple - Sail to Luxor

After breakfast on board, we will visit the Temple of Edfu. After, we will sail to Luxor city.

Lunch, dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 5 - East Bank - West Bank - Fly to Cairo

After breakfast on board, we will check-out of the cruise at 8 a.m.

We will then take a bus to proceed with visits the East Bank of Luxor, where will witness the marvelous Karnak and Luxor Temples.

After, we will visit the West Bank, where we will see the massive Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the two Colossi of Memnon.

We will then take a short flight to Cairo, check-in at the hotel, and stay overnight.

DAY 6 - Alexandria City Tour: Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, Bibliotheca Alexandrina & Qaitbay Fort

After an early breakfast in Cairo, we will transfer to Alexandria via A/C bus (approx. 3 hours).

We will then proceed with a full day city tour, visiting some of the most interesting locations in this coastal city. We will start with the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, then Pompey's Pillar, then the new Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and finally, the Fort of Qaitbay.

Lunch is available during the tour. You will also have 2 hours to roam the city as you please! Ask our representatives about the best spots to visit.

We will then transfer back to Cairo (approx. 3 hours) and stay the night.

DAY 7 - Pyramids of Giza - Sphinx - Egyptian Museum - Khan el Khalili Bazaar

After breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed with a full day of tours, starting off with the Pyramids of Giza, the mysterious Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum of ancient antiquities.

We will then go shopping at Khan el Khalili, a bazaar with shops that are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more.

Dinner at a local restaurant is on us.

Overnight at hotel.

DAY 8 - Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, we will check-out and depart to Cairo International Airport.

Optional Tour: Visit Sultan Hassan & Sultan Rifae mosques & Old Coptic Cairo (the Hanging Church, Abu Serga, Ben Ezra). (USD 70 per person including lunch at local restaurant)

Do I need a visa to travel to Egypt?
For most nationalities, you can get a Visa at the Egyptian Airport upon arrival. The cost of the visa is USD 25. For other nationalities, you will have to consult with your local Egyptian embassy to get the visa from your country.
Is Egypt a safe country to travel to?
Yes, Egypt is safe to travel to! In the last couple of years, After 7 years of stagnancy, Egypt is finally opening its doors to tourism once more, welcoming visitors from all corners of the world to take a step into North Africa.
When is the best time of the year to travel to Egypt?
The best time to travel to Egypt is in the winter season. When it’s cloudy in Europe, it’s very sunny here in Egypt. Temperatures do drop so pack a jacket, but you can also head to our sunny destinations in the North Coast or the Red Sea for year-round sun!
Do Egyptians speak English?
For the most part, yes. You will be able to get around with English only. You will find English menus in most restaurants, and you will find a lot of the billboards blaring messages in English too. You might even feel right at home!
Do people in Egypt commute by camels?
No, we certainly don’t. There are cars, buses, Ubers, metros, trains, and even airports! However, if you want to ride a horse and carriage, we still do have those.
