Itinerary at a Glance

Day 01: Cairo
  • Arrival Cairo, greeted by our representative, who will assist you through the immigration, then transfer by our modern deluxe Car to your Hotel for check-in.
  • In the evening you have the possibility for sound and light show in the Pyramids Area (cost is not included).
  • Overnight in Hotel in Cairo
  • Meals: None
  • Breakfast at the Hotel.
  • Your Guide will be waiting for you to start Visiting one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
  • The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. This temple served definitely two functions: First, it was used for the purification of the mummy of the king before its burial. Second, it was used for making the Mummification process of the king.
  • Visit papyrus fair, perfume factory.
  • Move to visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years. after you will visit also Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
  • After visit transfer to Hotel in Cairo.
  • Overnight in Hotel in Cairo.

  • Early check-out after breakfast and transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Aswan.

  • Start Aswan visits: - High Dam: The Dam is 3600 meters long, 980 meters thick at base and 111 meters tall (at its highest point). The waters of Lake Nasser, the world's largest man-made lake, have amassed behind it. It provides irrigation water and electricity for the whole of Egypt. Located 13 km south of Aswan, the High Dam is usually included on south Aswan daytrips itineraries. These tours can be booked through your hotel or through any tour operator in town. - Philae temple: This beautiful temple complex is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt. It sits on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam and you must ride a water taxi to the island to get to the temple. The temple was moved to its current location following the construction of the High Dam, which threatened to submerge it permanently.
  • After visit transfer to the Cruise for check-in.
  • Overnight on board of the cruise in Aswan

  • In the early morning you have the possibility for Abu Simple optional tour (cost is not included).
  • At around 13:00 the cruise will start sailing towards Kom Ombo, and visit Kom Ombo temple: the temple at Kom Ombo is about 30 miles (48 km) north of Aswan and was built during the Graeco-Roman period (332 BC AD 395). There was an earlier structure from the 18th dynasty but little remains. The temple is unique because it is in fact a double temple, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. The layout combines two temples in one with each side having its own gateways and chapels

  • Edfu Temple: The Temple of Edfu is the second largest temple in Egypt. It is also known as the Temple of Horus (the falcon-headed God) and it is the most beautiful and well-preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Located between the Egyptian cities Luxor and Aswan, a French archaeologist by the name of Auguste Mariette uncovered it from its sand burial in the 1860s.
  • After visit back to cruise.
  • Sail to Luxor and overnight in Luxor.
